The senior men won the silver medals with a very creditable performance, but were disappointed not to win the title. Two of the most encouraging runs were from Si Murcott and Mike Holden. Si ran his fastest time to date around the short leg with 15.30 and, considering the lack of background this winter, was great to see. Mike Holden on second leg for the B team was timed at 15.28 - running faster than 3 of the A team and laying down a claim for a place in the A team at the National in 2 weeks time. The A team also clocked nearly 5 minutes faster than last year.

The women had an excellent result to finish 6th with Cath Veyesy showing she's back to fitness witha 17.45 clocking on first leg. The Vet's six stage team had a bit of a disaster with their sixth leg not spotting 5th leg coming in and therefore not finishing a team when in second position.
