WMYA XC League Race 2 & Schools County Races (16/11/2014)

It was a busy weekend for the Tipton Juniors and it was wonderful to see them dig deep and perform so well.

A number of them donned their County vests to compete at the Schools Cross Country Inter Counties Match at Oldbury Wells School, Bridgnorth. It was a really tough course with a killer hill with races run over championship distances. Bella fantom and Monique Oladujoye ran in the year 7 race, it was great to see Bella finish in 14th place, 3rd for West Mids. Oliver Mason and Haydn ran really well for the boys.

In year 8 and 9 we had Holly Sides finishing in a an amazing 14th position with strong runs by Bethany Walker, Eve Mulvaney, Rae Nicholls, Savannah Causer and an injured Kate Farnell.

Rosa Lewis worked hard as ever and also finished in 14th place in the year 10 and 11 race. Full results to follow if I can get them.
