When you join an athletic club such as Tipton Harriers you will gain a number of benefits. These include the option to train and mix with like minded people who enjoy the same sport for the similar reasons.

In addition you can gain access to other competitive and training opportunities. A number of  these are listed below.

    • Access for athletes to qualified coaches within the club to assist you with your athletic development and experience
    • Coach Education, Development & Networking
  • Affiliation
    • England Athletics Registration Fee is included (within appropriate membership types)
  • Facilties & Equipment
    • Use of Track & Field facilities at official training sessions & events (subject to membership type).
    • Indoor Gym & Sports Hall at official training sessions & events (subject to membership type)
    • Access to, and use of, appropriate track & field equipment at official training sessions & events.

    • Cross Country Leagues
    • Road Relays & Championships
      • Midland 6 (Men) & 4 (Women) Stage Road Relays (normally held in September)
      • Midland 12 (Men) & 6 (Women) Stage Stage Road Relays (normally held in March or April)
      • National 6 (Men) & 4 (Women) Stage Road Relays (normally held in September)
      • National 12 (Men) & 6 (Women) Stage Stage Road Relays (normally held in October)
      • Young Athletes Road Relays (normally held in September or October)
    • Cross Country Championships
      • Midland Cross Country Championships (normally held in January)
      • National Cross Country Championships (normally held in February)
      • County Championships (NB it is up to individuals to enter themselves in these competitions)
    • Masters Athletics
      • To compete in these Masters events you must also be a member of an approved Masters organisation. For athletes based in the Midlands then this is the Midland Masters A.C. and/or the British Masters Athletics Federation. It is up to the individual athlete to join one or both of these organisations.
