AW Roundup (07 05 2009)

Pride of performance goes to Phil Hinch (running for Wolverhampton University) who won the BUCS 10,000m Final with 30.22.38.

Phil appears in a photograph on the Contents page in the BUCS Championships.

Phil also ran 14.42.48 for 5000m to snatch 3rd place in the Final after having sneaked qualification with 4th spot in 14.51.53.

Nigel Stirk also gets ranked in a table in an article called "Secrets Of Their Success" that looks at people who competed at both Cross Country Championships & the London Marathon.

Steve Marriott ran the Manchester May Day road 5km coming 4th in 15m12s behind Chris Davies, Andi Jones & M Bond.

Results were carried of the Midland Masters Relay at Edgbaston Reservoir in Birmingham on 26th April where Tipton finished 2nd to Leicester in the M35 age group with a team made up from Pat Kavanagh (16.24), Dean Hill (17.21) Aaron Keene (16.37) & Mark Wright (17.46). Pat Kavanagh's time was 3rd fastest in his age group. In the M50 category evergreen Malcolm Eustace was fastest overall on the day with 18.06.
