National 12 and 6 Stage Preview

Tomorrow sees Sutton Park once again play host to some of the best athletes in the country for the annual National Men's 12-stage and Women's 6-stage Road Relays. 12.00 start for the men and 12.20 for the women. Be great to have as much support there as possible.

Tipton's men have been getting stronger and stronger over the last few years with the last 5 years going 11th, 8th, 6th, 5th, 3rd. This years team looks like it continuing the improvement in terms of time, but can we go better in terms of position? After victory at the Midland 12 stage things are set for a great race. The battle is likely to come down to the usual suspects of NEB, Belgrave and Leeds but can the other Midland clubs like the ever improving Coventry get themselves up there at the National level?

Can Mr Nicholls go faster than his great time of 25.39 last year? Will Hinchy continue his great form and will the Martin's suntanning trip to Portugal pay off? Mark Powell, Ryan Mcleod and Ben Gamble will all be making their first National 12-stage appearances for the club and will be gunning to make it a good one.

After an excellent 7th at the Midlands, the women's team are fielding two teams tomorrow, which bodes well for the future.
