Phil Nicholls third in Birmingham Half

Phil Nicholls had a storming run in the Birmingham Half marathon last Sunday. In only his second half Phil dipped under 65 minutes for a pb, which considering the hilly last few miles was a great run. Edwin Kipyego and Gordon Mugi broke away fairly early leaving Phil to run the last 10 miles on his own. Next harrier was Martin Williams clocking 68.26 just ahead of Ian Welshy Williams in 68.27. Lynne Cox finished a tremendous 11th woman in 85.24.
