Here is an image of a newspaper article of unknown date (but probably mid February 1969) reporting on a victory for the Club in the Birmingham & District XC League after the final race held at Great Barr on 15th February 1969. Of minor interest is the result from the Dudley & Stourbridge fixture in that Pat Butcher won the race. He went on to become a well respected athletics correspondent in a national newpaper and author.
