September Track & Field Performances (21/09/2020)

Various open meetings are being staged at venues around the Midlands and Tipton athletes are supporting them.

U20 Bella Fantom ran an 800m at Loughborough on 16th September recording 2m 2m 32.14s placing 5th in her race. Jade Charlton, U17, ran a 1500m at Leamington on 12th September where she was timed at 5m 17.5s for 4th place.

Abbey Sutton and Holly Graham were at Nuneaton on Sunday 20th September. Abbey contesting the U17 Discus and throwing 33.85m for 1st spot and a PB. Holly meanwhile was running a 800m placing 6th with 2m 40.16s.

Tom Holden ran a 1500m at Nuneaton on 6th September (4m 08.67s).

Over 3000m at Loughborough on 9th September Nick Hardy was timed at 8m 53.16s for 2nd spot.

On the 12th September at Leamington the following  all ran 1500m - Tom Bentley recorded a PB with 4m 18.7s; Tom Brown 4m 29.6s and Ben Lucas 4m 40.9s (PB).

Four days later the two Tom's were at Loughborough (16th September) and were joined by Ben Lucas over 800m. Their times were - Tom B, 2m 01.58s; Tom L, 2m 35.73s and Ben L, a PB, 2m 08.41s. Harvey Maguire was also out over 1500m and ran 4m 09.46s.

Super sprinter Jamal Chambers (U23) was at Sportcity (Manchester) on 2nd September over 100m with 10.91s and then at Nuneaton on the 20th racing 200m with a time of 22.12s for 3rd spot. Tom Holden was over 3000m and recorded 8m 54.74s for 6th at the same Nuneaton meet.
