Congratulations to Tom Bentley, Joe Smith & Jon Carter on their selection for Midland Counties (MCAA) teams in up and coming fixtures.
Tom has been selected for the MCAA "Junior" 5Km squad for a road race in Cardiff we believe to be staged on 29th August.
Joe & Jon are to represent a MCAA team in a representative road relay to be staged in Leeds on 15th August 2021.
According to the EA website this event, organised by Northern Athletics, will see the Midland team team compete against others squads including Northern Ireland, Wales, Armed Forces, an area team from the North as well as a combined Leeds University team. Each athlete will race over a road two mile leg on a closed road circuit at the Brownlee Centre. A live stream will be available.
